Thanks for tuning in to part 2 of our ‘common kiwi drainage problems’ series! Today we’re tackling two more Wellington plumbing emergencies that we find ourselves frequently fixing as local Wellington plumbers.
Hey! Where’s the hot water?
Do you find yourself waiting for what seems like a lifetime just to get some hot water out of the tap fir your dishes? What could be worse than waking up in the morning to a freezing cold shower?
A lack or slow run of hot water is a common Wellington plumbing problem that the team at Trito have plenty of experience fixing.
Depending on your home’s water heating system, we’ll be able to get your hot water running in a jiffy.
Please note, though, that if you hear strange sounds or see any leaking around your hot water system then it’s important to call your Wellington plumber as soon as possible!
A sad, slow- flowing shower that lacks power
Weak showers are a bit of a nightmare. They leave you with leftover shampoo in your hair and a few cold limbs that the water couldn’t quite reach.
Weak showers mean that you take twice as long in the shower too; frustrating other family members who have to line up for their morning wash and wait way longer than necessary. It’s a problem that most of us have encountered in our lifetime, but the worst thing you can do is put off getting it fixed.
Some common reasons for weak water are:
- lime scale buildup around the shower head
- a poor quality, old fashioned shower head
- a deeper issue with your home’s plumbing that you’ll need expert help with
For any of these reasons, be sure to call on your local Wellington plumber. Even if it’s just for some words of advice, we’re happy to help!
We hope you’ve learned a thing or two through our series this month. To avoid any drainage problems altogether, you can have us perform regular service checks on your home. Get in touch to keep your home plumbing problem free today!
